Dora cuenca Is a Costa Rican/cuban multidisciplinary artist working mainly on murals, Art licensing and fine art collections. currently based in New Jersey/Philadelphia.
Her work is guided by curiosity, experiences in nature and the everyday motherhood experience. She fluidly blends the abstract and figurative to paint the way things feel rather than the way they look. Cuenca’s process and final pieces cultivate, transform and transfer energy through movement color and shape.
Dora is known for thoughtful color curation and playful organic shapes. She has brought color to the walls of Madewell, Mission Taqueria, Freedom Apothecary, The Fashion District, Allen Street Grill, The Heid at Sonder Stays, the city of Philadelphia through Mural Arts and private residences in the US and Costa Rica.
