My work grows from the belief that energy is never static.

Energy shifts, flows, and transforms through the act of making and sharing art. To create is to hold space for curiosity and trust what unfolds. Beauty, in this sense, is not decoration but invitation. When we create beauty in the world, we awaken the impulse in others to create their own.

Painting the way things feel, not the way they’re seen.

  • I was born and raised in Costa Rica, daughter of a Costarican mom and a Cuban dad. I would describe my childhood as magical.

  • Art is my way of being in conversation with life. It’s how I give shape to energy, emotion, and attention.

In my early twenties, after losing my father, I was pulled into deep grief and disconnection. Creating became a way to move that energy, to transform pain into presence. Through color, form, and curiosity, I found my way back to beauty, not as escape, but as evidence that life continues to unfold.

Art remains my practice of gratitude and transformation. It reminds me that making is both an act of healing and a way of seeing. A reminder that what we attend to, we bring to life.

  • Curiosity for me is not optional.

It’s where everything begins. I had to learn to trust it again and let it lead without knowing where it’s taking me. Following those rabbit holes often sends me down unexpected paths, but even when they don’t become a full body of work, they always feed the cycle.

Every experiment, finished or not, keeps the practice alive.

  • I believe color, form, and movement can shift the energy within a space and within us. Each piece begins as a small spark of curiosity and, through noticing, research, and play, becomes a vessel of transformed energy.

When my art reaches you, that vessel becomes yours. It invites you to notice, to play, and to let your own curiosity unfold. A quiet reminder to celebrate your presence in the world.
